Jay A. Bocchi, M.D. joined the EPIC Imaging team as a diagnostic radiologist with the opening of the west side site in July 2000. He brings to EPIC broad-based experience in all aspects of general diagnostic radiology, with particular interest in neuroradiology, extremity magnetic resonance imaging and women's imaging.

Originally obtaining an undergraduate degree in biology from Southern Oregon State College in Ashland, Dr. Bocchi received his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1980. He served a flexible internship in the Tucson Hospitals Medical Education program and then returned to OHSU for a diagnostic radiology residency.

Since that time, he has completed a fellowship in body imaging with a special interest in CT and Ultrasound; taught as an Assistant Professor at the Oregon Health Sciences University; and has worked recently in the private practice of radiology. Dr. Bocchi's professional affiliations include the American College of Radiology, the Oregon Medical Association, the Clackamas County Medical Society and the Radiologic Society of North America.

Dr. Bocchi is an Oregon native serving Portland area patients for over fifteen years. He is a husband and father of three who volunteers with his children's basketball and soccer teams. He enjoys golf, fishing, skiing and water sports.
