Kenneth R. Curtin, M.D.

Kenneth R. Curtin, M.D. joined EPIC Imaging | East at the end of 2005. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois, and a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University Medical School.

Dr. Curtin's career path began in 1987 as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force at Beale Air Force Base California. After leaving the Air Force, he completed his residency in Radiology at Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center, and in 1995 was Chief Resident in Radiology at that facility. One year later he became a Fellow in Neuroradiology at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.

Following fellowship training at OHSU, he was a staff radiologist at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan. In June of 2001, Dr. Curtin was appointed Assistant Professor of Radiology (Neuroradiology Section) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and in 2004 he was Clinical Assistant Professorship of Radiology at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Publications and Society meeting presentations and areas of interest have included CT evaluation of appendicitis, venous occlusive disease of the central nervous system, CT angiography of the arteries of the brain, and MR and CT perfusion brain imaging.

Dr. Curtin is certified by the American Board of Radiology, in Diagnostic Radiology with Certificate of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology. Dr. Curtin is a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology.
