 Ryan Taylor, M.D. joined EPIC Imaging as a nuclear medicine and general diagnostic radiologist in July of 2000. He graduated with honors from the University of Oregon with a degree in biology and a minor in biochemistry. Dr. Taylor earned his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1992 followed by an internship and one year residency in General Surgery at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program in Arizona.
Since that time he has worked as an emergency medicine locum tenens in Arizona and completed both a diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in nuclear medicine at the Oregon Health Sciences University. He is board certified in each of these areas.
Dr. Taylor's focus in the area of nuclear medicine and, particularly, PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scanning make him a valuable addition to the EPIC team. During the fall of 2000, he represented the center at the international PET conference in Washington, D.C.
Current professional memberships for Dr. Taylor include the Oregon Radiological Society, the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the American Medical Association and the Oregon Medical Association.
Raised in southern Oregon, Dr. Taylor enjoys hiking and bicycling.
