EPIC offers insurance verification assistance for your staff helping to cut down the time required for preauthorization of advanced diagnostic imaging procedures.

EPIC Imaging’s full time billing and coding specialists are available to your office staff Monday through Saturday. We encourage you to call with any questions or requests and guarantee prompt, personal service to help facilitate the billing process. Our staff members are dedicated to maintaining the many updates and changes involved in billing both by federal agencies and private providers.

Our resource information is designed to save your staff precious hours trying to contact agencies and providers directly. In addition, our team of specialists works directly with your patient to ease their billing concerns and answer questions on their financial responsibilities beyond allowable insurance payments.

A copy of our imaging preauthorization and referral matrix detailing the reviewing agencies, contact phone numbers and preauthorization requirements for each payor is available upon request by calling 505.535.8355 or emailing customer service.

* Important note: The law does not allow patients with Providence Medicare and Medicaid products to be seen at EPIC. These patients have no out-of-network benefits and Medicare/Medicaid prohibit us from writing off their charges. The exception to the exclusion is Providence Medicare Supplement Plan F and Medicare Choice Plan.
