Reporting Procedures

EPIC offers you choices for report delivery designed to help you optimize patient care.

Spontaneous Fax. The minute your report has been verified and approved by a radiologist, our information system immediately faxes a report to your office. Like many of our fellow Oregonians, we are continually striving to become a more green company. The elimination of duplicate hard copy reports sent via courier was a significant step toward reducing our center’s carbon footprint. Spontaneous fax also provides an added security benefit to help protect the confidential health information of your patients by eliminating the possibility of human error during a courier run. A robust electronic tracking system monitors delivery of reports and flags dropped fax transmissions ensuring timely, accurate delivery.

Digital Images. Request your personal log-in to our web-based PACS system, Centricity IW, for immediate access to your patients’ studies 24/7. If you prefer, images can be delivered via CD.

Free Delivery. Film and a hard copy report can be hand delivered upon request within the Portland metro area or overnighted to surrounding communities. There is never a charge.

Call Report. When necessary, one of our radiologists will personally call you upon immediate completion of the study – often before the patient is released.
